A Celebration of Life service for Janet Tucker, 80 of Tishomingo, MS, will be Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 2:00 P M at Tate Baptist Church with interment to follow in Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Mickey Trammel will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 12:00 P M until service time at Tate Baptist Church. Mrs. Tucker was born December 6, 1942 in McNairy County, TN to Vester Horton and Grace Louise Moore Horton. She was a member of Tate Baptist Church and a beautician for many years. Janet is survived by her sons, Scott Tucker (Christie) and Steve Tucker (Vanillife); her daughter, Stacy Floyd (Tommy); seven grandchildren, Marlon Floyd (Kylie), Cassie Floyd, Mary Anna Tucker, Matthew Tucker, Mitchell Tucker, Marlee Tucker and Milee Tucker; one great grandson, John Bennett Floyd; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Tucker; her father, Vester Horton and her mother, Louise Moore Horton. Pallbearers will be Scott Tucker, Steve Tucker, Marlon Floyd, Matthew Tucker, Mitchell Tucker and Tommy Floyd. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Janet Tucker.
