Janet Stephens, age 68, of Albertville, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at her home.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. Rev. Ricky Fowler will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ethan C. Bonds, Micheal K. Upton, Rodney D. Byrd, Daniel B. Gullion, Leonardo F. Lopez and Kelton Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Javan C. Bonds and Johnny Stephens.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children, Ramona Byrd, Ret. Staff Sergeant Austin F. Duncan and Heath B. Duncan, granddaughters, Erin N. Gullion (Daniel) and Emily K. Byrd, great-grandson, Cohen S. Gullion, brother, Johnny R. Stephens (Jennifer) and sister, Debbie Bonds (Randy).
Preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt W. Stephens and Maggie C. Stephens.
Janet worked almost 27 years at Wal-Mart in Boaz. She was passionate about her family, writing poetry and gardening. She had confessed Jesus Christ as her Savior.
