A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Janet Junkins, 73, will be Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Falkville City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2023 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Junkins passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital, she was born on February 19, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, to Ray and Stella Chmiel. She was employed by Castner Knott and Dillard’s Stores as Retail Security, prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church and was a graduate of Austin High School.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother: Matthew Chmiel.
