Mrs. Janet C. Meeker of Stevenson Alabama passed away Saturday September 18, 2021 at her home following an extended illness. Janet worked at Andover Togs in Pisgah and also at the H.D. Lee plant in Stevenson for many years before her retirement.
Mrs. Meeker is survived by her daughters Jane Meeker White, and Brenda Kaye Meeker, son and daughter-in-law Jim and Debby Meeker. Sister Bonnie Barrett. Grandchildren Jason McCrary, Jessica(Shun McDonald)Meeker, Ben White, Matt White, Stephine Matheney and Shawn and Shannon Meeker. Great grandchildren Mykel Meeker, Makayla McMurrey, Nahshon McDonald, Brilan White, Makayla White, Amira McDonald; and one Great Great grandchild Laz Garcia. Brother and sister-in-law Brooks and Juanita Bell, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Marvin Meeker, Son Tommy Meeker, grand daughter Samanda Meeker, and her parents John and Dovie Carter.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, Alabama from 5 PM until 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12 Noon in the chapel of Rudder Funeral Home Stevenson.
