In loving memory of Janet Ann Pillittere Petty, age 81, who passed away on Sept. 18, 2016, after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was preceded in death by her parents, Salvadore and Georgiana Pillittere, and her aunt, Juanita Jara, who was like a mother to her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Bill Petty; her daughters, Natalie and husband, David Branscomb, Linda and husband, Richard Beatty; and son, Boyd and wife, Jonica Petty; eight grandchildren; her sister, Sylvia Falk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff on station five at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Home who was her second family for the past seven-and-a-half years.
A memorial service of her life will be held at Mitchell-Hollingsworth on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at 2:30 p.m.
