Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Katherine Blankenship, age 96, will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in the Church at Sugar Creek with Dr. Greg McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 PM until service time.
Ms. Blankenship, a retired production worker at Wayne Knitting Mill and faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Humboldt for over 70 years, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, J.T. Blankenship; sons Ted Blankenship and Jackie Blankenship; parents Finis and Rena Milam; sisters, Mildred Williams, Sue Bell and Ruth McDaniel; and brothers, Alton Milam, J.W. Milam, Rev. Guy Milam, Rev. Jerry Milam and Otis Milam.
Mrs. Blankenship is survived by a daughter, J.D. Blankenship; son, Jim Blankenship (Elna); daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ted Blankenship; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and seven nieces and fourteen nephews.
