Jane Hobbs Delap, 82, of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Mrs. Delap is preceded in death by her parents, Max Hobbs and Viola Ursery Hobbs, as well as her husband, Douglas Delap, one brother, Joda Hobbs, one sister, Maxine Holt, and one son, Scott Delap.
She is survived by two daughters, Nickie (Shane) Emerson and Dee Mullins, one sister, Saundra (Ray) Royer, six grandchildren; Cason (Morgan) Delap, Alli Emerson, Bleu Emerson, Isabella Emerson, Harper Emerson, and McCrea Mullins, one great grandchild, Elliot Delap, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Delap lived in the Ardmore area her whole life where she was a member at Pettusville Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her husband of over 50 years as well as her family and friends.
There will be a visitation held for Mrs. Delap at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM. A Graveside Service is scheduled to take place in Gatlin Cemetery after visitation with service time beginning at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
