Jane Ellett Gough, aged 75, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, at Summerford Health and Rehab. She was born August 13, 1949, in Huntsville, AL to Henry Campbell Ellett and Doris Ramona Hoover Ellett. She resided in Madison County virtually her entire life and was a 1967 graduate of Sparkman High School.
Jane was married to Brian A. Gough for 24 years, who preceded her in death as well as her parents. She is survived by her son, Shawn Harris (Mecia); her sister, Nancy Pabon; nephew, Cam Pabon; nieces, Dori Pabon (Adam Shelnutt), and Jessica Pabon (Robert Oliver); as well as many great-nieces and nephews, Skyler, Sean, Teya, Jasmin, Kobe, Cortez, Alyssah, Jacob, Nathan, Ashton, Eleanor, and Ashai, that she loved as her own grandchildren. Jane loved Alabama football, movies, sweets, family, and Jesus.
Family and friends are invited to visitation at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, 2320 Bob Wallace Avenue, Huntsville, AL, Tuesday September 17, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service at Huntsville Memory Gardens, Highway 72 West, Huntsville, AL Wednesday September 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Heath Haney officiating.
