Jane Elizabeth Richardson, 82, of Tuscumbia, passed away Sept. 18, 2013. Visitation was Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Services were 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel, and burial followed in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Bubba Cole officiated.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elydia Madden; husband, George Marvin Richardson; and brother, Dick Madden.
Survivors include sons, George Richardson (Cindy), of Muscle Shoals, and Mark Richardson (Toni), of Pinson, Ala.; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Potts (Steve), of Killen, Elydia Richardson (Thomas James), of Tuscumbia, and Marjorie Sneed (Robert), of Jacksonville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; and loving companion, Tater.
Pallbearers will be Mark Whittle, Kevin Montgomery, Jeff Potts, Alex Montgomery, Shea Michael and Robbie Whittle. Honorary pallbearer is Ben Michael.
Mrs. Richardson was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and an Eastern Star.
