Jane Doyle, 72, of Cherokee, AL, died Saturday, February 11, 2017, at her residence. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Benton, Co., MS. She was a loving wife, mother, and daughter. She enjoyed her family genealogy, and will be missed by all. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Monday, February 13 at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Paul Adams and Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in Asphalt Rock Cemetery. Pallbearers include Zane Crowell, Caleb Crowell, Calton Crowell, Casey Crowell, Tyler Crowell, an Burt Miller. Honorary bearers will be Paul Lyles, Zack Curtman, and Jerry Williams. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her father, Bro. Perry Murphy of Cherokee; 4 sons – Lane Crowell (Jennica) of Muscle Shoals, AL; Zane “Cricket” Crowell of Cherokee; Shon Crowell (Lisa) of Prattville, AL; Frankie Crowell (Leah) of Cherokee; and 1 step son; 1 daughter, Rita McVay (Wade) of Cherokee and 2 stepdaughters; 1 brother, Terry Murphy (Martha) of Cherokee; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Doyle; her mother, Martha Black Murphy; her sister, Joan Murphy; and her great grandson, Sikes Lyles.
