Mrs. Jane C. Oxendine, age 89, of Arab, passed away on November 23, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Oxendine was born on February 8, 1929 in Texas to Joseph Watt Chapman and Mary Elizabeth Imes Chapman. She was married to the late Clarence Ivey Oxendine who passed on November 30, 1996. Jane enjoyed sewing, cross word puzzles and loved her church family.
She was a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Oxendine is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, James L. Oxendine & Sabrina; daughters, Janeice Stone, Janette Winters, Tamara Pretorius; step daughters, Heidi Watkins and Sandy Francks; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 brothers; 1 sister; 2 grandsons.
Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Jamey Pruett, officiating. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisting the family.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
