Jane-Lange-1461850821Jane Ann Lange, age 70, Columbia resident, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Jane was born June 28, 1945 in Linden, TN, the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Lee Carlton Jackson. She was the wife of Edward George Lange. Jane had received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Columbia State Community College and worked as an R.N. at Maury Regional Medical Center for over 20 years. After retiring from Maury Regional, Jane worked for Dr. Maloof in his cardiology office. She loved quilting, cooking and her sweet grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of her greatest pleasures was traveling to the Smokey Mountains. She was a member of the North View Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Lange of Columbia; two daughters, Melanie (Barry) Eastep and Shannon (John) Sajovic, both of Columbia; grandchildren, Brittany (Matt) Feageans , Jacob (Jennifer) Eastep, Courtney (Zach) Scott, Justin Eastep, and Adrianna Eastep, all of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Cayden Eastep, Jaxon Scott, Greyson Eastep, Presley Scott and Adell Eastep.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 30, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Friday, April 29, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Eastep, Matt Feageans, Justin Eastep, Zach n Scott, Dr. John Maloof and Nathan Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be men of the North View congregation.
