Jane Allred Gibson, 79, died Friday, March 31, 2017 at North Miss. Medical Center Hospice
after an extended illness. Jane was born in Belden, MS on Sept. 5, 1937 to the late Kelvie M. Allred and Lena Pearl Morgan Allred. She grew up in Memphis, graduated from Southside High School there and attended Business College for 2 ½ years. Jane lived over 30 years in California where she served the hotel/motel industry as a switch board operator. She returned to Tupelo in l997 and lived the remaining 20 years of her life here surrounded by her siblings and her nieces and nephews. She was a Baptist.
A private graveside committal service will be at a future date in Tupelo Memorial Park in Tupelo in the Allred Family Plot. There will be no public services or visitation. Holland Funeral Directors/Cremations is assisting the family.
Jane is survived by her 3 siblings; Ann Jones Prichard, John Allred and Rick Allred . her nieces and nephews, Marcie and John K Allred, Shane Pritchard, David Jones, Christie McCraw, Randy Allred and Ricky Allred, Jr. and their families. Special friends, Sarah Timms and Brenda Barnett.
