Jamie Dwayne Thornton, 44, of Florence, passed away June 13, 2024. No services are planned at this time.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Geraldene and James Smith; uncle, Terry Smith; son, Michael Thornton; nephew, Brandon Sammons; step-sister, Sheena Rotten; and step-brother, Jesse Holbrook.
Jamie is survived by his wife, Holly Thornton; parents, Nancy Holbrook and Michael Thornton. Additional survivors include his son, Devin Thornton; daughter, Aughbrionnah Thornton; sisters, Brandy Thornton and Christinna McCullough; several nieces and nephews.
Jamie enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
