Jamie Dar’Quez Cawthrone

Jamie Dar’Quez Cawthrone was born February 14, 1992 to Suprenna Ann Cawthorne and James Franklin Vinson.

Affectionally known as “Quez” he was a loving, caring, and passionate man. From loving and caring for his loved ones and his children. Jamie had a passion for cars, dogs and dirt bikes! In 1997 Jamie gave his life to Christ at Lewis Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor James Moore, where he remained a lifelong member. Jamie’s unique laugh and joyful spirit served as the strength of everyone that he met.

On October 12, 2024 God saw fit to give Jamie his wings. He was preceded in death by his sister, Terasha Cawthorne; grandmother, Annie B. Taylor; grandfathers: Willie Redus and James Crayton; two uncles: Reginald King and Charles Harden; and one nephew, Jeremiah Poe.

He leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Suprenna Cawthorne of Huntsville, AL; father, James Vinson of Decatur, AL; eleven children: Jamion, Jamie, Jr., Ja’Miracle, Armonie, Brielle, Da’mani, Jamir and Ja’Mari Cawthorne, Demontrez, Devontae and Bayleigh Sales; three sisters: Tiesha Cawthorne of Huntsville, AL, Shakira Edmonds, and Tamara Vinson both of Decatur, AL; one brother, Tashawn Edmonds of Decatur, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews: Jayla Williams, Jayden Cannon, Jermanii Cawthorne, Legend Edmonds, London Vinson, Braylin Edmonds, Malaziah Edmonds, Lakieya Felton; as well as his lifelong partner, Brandy King.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Royal Chapel of Memories (4315 Oakwood Avenue NW Huntsville, AL 35810). Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace.

There will be no public viewing.
