Jami Ryan Bailey, age 54, of Arab, Al passed away at UAB hospital on December, 29th 2023 surrounded by her children. Jami was born on April 8, 1969 and grew up in Ryan, Al where she spent her childhood with her beloved family and friends. Jami spent most of her life in Arab, AL where she was known for her loving nature, kindness, and beauty inside and out. She began her battle with cancer in January of 2022 that would lead to many trials and tribulations until her death. Despite the dark times that Jami experienced, she continued to show her strength and love for her children and family through it all.
Jami is preceded in death by her parents Nolan and Jean Ryan, brother Stanley Ryan and her sister LuAnn Williams. She is survived by her sister Jackie West and her children Hailey Jordan (Matt Jordan), Madison Green (Calan Green), and Blake Burgett (Nick Williss). She was a loving mimi to Easton Jordan and Nolan Green. Jami’s greatest treasure was her extensive family that included many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Jami’s spirit lives on through her family and friends due to her unwavering strength, infectious joy, and boundless love that impressed upon every person she came in contact with. She is no longer suffering or in pain. May she rest in eternal peace and her memory live on through those she loved most.
Arrangements for Jami Ryan Bailey at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers Michael King and Terry Hudson officiating on Tuesday January 2, 2024. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm , service to follow at 2:00pm
interment will take place at Ryan Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family greatly appreciates memorial tributes be directed to the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel to fund and assist with expenses.
