James William TeeplesJames William Teeples passed away on Sunday, July 21st, 2024 at NHC Pulaski surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 9th, 1935 and was 88 years old.

James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. James retired from Pulaski Rubber Company, and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and riding horses. James spent many Friday and Saturday nights line dancing with his wife and friends. He loved being outdoors and fishing.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial will take place at Pisgah Cemetery in Pulaski, TN

James was preceded in death by, Parents, Floyd and Floye Teeples, Brothers, Ed, Walter, George, Harold “Buddy” Teeples, Sisters, Lona Hill, Louise McDougal, Sister-in-law, Jeanette Ogea, Brothers-in-law, Sonny Tomerlin, Tommy Shelton, George Ogea, and Paul Gunter.
He is survived by,
His wife of 64 years, Nancy Teeples of Pulaski, TN
Daughters, Gayla (Steve) Pierce of Pulaski, TN
Vickie (Chris) Edgmon of Prospect, TN
Grandsons, Carson (Caitlin) Edgmon of Prospect, TN
Sam (Sara Beth) Edgmon of Knoxville, TN
Luke (Asheton) Pierce of Pulaski, TN
4 Great grandchildren, Clarke Edgmon, Knox Edgmon, Grayden Pierce, and Hall Edgmon
Sisters-in-law, Carolyn Shelton, Joyce Gunter, Frankie Tomerlin, and Debra Tosh
Brothers-in-law, Mike Tomerlin and Bill McDougal
Special friends, Debbie and Layton Brumit of Pulaski, TN
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
