James William Lowery, 61, of Gurley, passed away Saturday. Mr. Lowery was a native of Florida and a resident of Madison for 6 years and a member of American Legion Post 239. He was preceded in death by his sister: Mary Jane Lowery, and his father: Hollis M. Lowery.
Survivors include his daughter: Amy Michelle Lowery; two brothers: Hollis Lowery and David Lowery; two sisters: Niessie Lowery and Debbie “Sissy” Lowery; mother: Nettie B. Lowery; granddaughter: Megan Bachelder; four nephews: Logan Lowery, Jordan Lowery, Hollis Kenny Lowery, and Tracy Lowery; two nieces: Jamie Lowery and Tina Clem; and companion: Reva Maynard.
Memorial graveside service will be held Saturday at Huntsville Memory Gardens at 1:00 p.m. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
