James Wilburn Lampley, age 92, of Goodlettsville, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Thursday, April 6th in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Keith Lampley officiating, Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery on Dividing Ridge Road in Robertson County, with family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Wednesday, April 5th and again from 11am until time of the service at 1pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Lampley was born July 26, 1930, in Nashville, to the late John Walter and Della Rosa Ferguson Lampley. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked in Production Control at AVCO Aero Structures for many years, and was a member of River Road Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lampley was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Geraldine Redden Lampley; daughter, Donna Belt; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his sons, Garry (Vickie) Lampley, Keith (Tammy) Lampley, and Jeff (Kellie) Lampley; daughters, Bonnie Noble, and Amber (Tim) Shreeve; 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
