James Walker Beck
(February 19, 1926 – April 15, 2013)
James Walker Beck age 87 passed away Monday, April 15, 2013.
He was a WWII Navy veteran and a Purple Heart recipient, member of the Ironworker Local 477, and a T.V.A. retiree.
He was preceded in death by his parents James H. Beck and Vora Beck. He is survived by his wife Ruth, son Bobby Beck (Diane) of Franklin, TN; daughter Nancy Griffin (Kenny) of The Villages, FL.; brother Charles Beck of Sheffield, AL; and sister Nina Phillips of Hoover, AL; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Richard Deal, The Cottage of the Shoals, and Amedisys Hospice for their special care and kindness.
Visitation will be 11:00am until 12:30pm Wednesday at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, followed by a graveside service 1:00pm at Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. Brother Larry Kilpatrick will officiate.
