James Wade Kelley, 72, died at his residence on Thursday, August 20, 2015. His funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Godbee and Bro. Scott Delashaw officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation was yesterday at Parkway funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Kelley was born on October 6, 1942, in Lawrence County, to the late John Wesley Kelley and the late Annie Caroline Kelley. He enjoyed riding in his wagon. He was a Deacon of Smyrna Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Joyce Morgan Kelley; two sons, Randy Kelley (Kim) and Andy Kelley (Cyndi); a daughter, Cinda Carroll (Devlon); eight grandchildren, Chase Kelley, Hunter Kelley, Brandi Borden, John Paul Harris, Allie Kelley, Payton Kelley, Kelley Carroll, and Marcus Carroll; and one sister, Cloteen Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Chase Kelley, Hunter Kelley, Buddy Johnson, Riley Kelly, Leslie Kelly, and Chad Richardson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Marcus Carroll and John Paul Harris.
