James Villard Guthrie, age 86 of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Vanderbilt Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was a member of the Antique Tractor club and a native of Lawrence County, TN. He worked for Miller Drilling Company, and was a retired farmer.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Velton and Eula Guthrie; Brother, R.L. Guthrie; Sister, Geneva Maddox.
He is survived by his Wife of 50 years, Dale Guthrie; Sister, Virginia Kiaser.
Pallbearers will include: Russell Counce, Colby Counce, Jed Pettus, Darren Long, Chase Long, Scott Owens, and Honorary Pallbearer, Conlin Hill.
Visitation will be held at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a Graveside Service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. Brother Brad Lowery will be officiating.
Interment will be at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens.
