James Timothy Borden, age 66, of Tuscumbia, died Saturday, August 31, 2024. The funeral service will be Monday, September 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Westside Baptist Church, with Jeremy Sanderson officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
A native of Colbert County, Mr. Borden was born on March 25, 1958, to the late James Woodrow and Vera Schultz Borden. He was a computer operator in the banking industry and a member of Westside Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Borden was also preceded in death by his sister, Gail Hand.
Survivors include his siblings, Laura Ezekiel (Bobby), Ronnie Borden (Donna), and Sandra Borden, and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Harrison, Ethan Harrison, Jonathan Harrison, Jacob Fountain, Jackson Fountain, and Justin Fountain. Honorary pallbearer is Levi Hill.
