James Tillman Ivy, 70, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Booneville, MS to James Otha Ivy and Nan Bennett Ivy. Most of his career was spent in mobile home sales. He was a member and past Master of Bay Springs Masonic Lodge #167 and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of York Rite, Cahaba Shriner’s Club, Scottish Rite and Jester. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era and was a member of VFW.
Graveside services will be Sunday, September 15, 2 p.m. at Belmont Memory Gardens with Terry Paul Graham officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Donna Ivy; daughter and son-in-law, Lesley and William Jones; grandson, Marshall Jones and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bobby Ivy.
Pallbearers will be members of Bay Springs Masonic Lodge #167.
