James Terry Storey, age 64 of Gaylesville, passed away Wednesday, September 23rd at his residence.
Funeral services will be 4 PM Saturday, September 26th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Paul Eaves and Rev. Mike Odom officiating. The family will receive friends 2:PM until the hour of the service.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Nephews and Friends.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Laney; sisters, Sylvia Clark of Augusta, GA, Velma Berry of Panama City, FL, Margaret (Paul) Eaves of Clarksville, TN, Patsy (Johnny) Steele of Gaylesville; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Christine Storey and Nancy Alexander.
Mr. Storey was a native of Floyd County, GA, the son of the late James Henry and Margaret Jerry Howard Storey, and was a carpenter and textile worker. He was a Mason and was of the Baptist faith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or Cancer Navigators of Rome, GA.
