Mr. James T. Strawn, age 81, of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Joe David Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
James is survived by his son, Kenneth (Billie) Strawn; daughter, Shelia (Chris) Manning; grandchildren, Kayla (Johnathon) Wilborn, Brandon (Nicole) Strawn, Chelsea Strawn, Christopher Manning, Jamie Manning, Sam Manning, and Jacob Manning; and great-grandchildren, Eli Wilborn, Collin Wilborn, Azlynn Manning, Arizona Manning, Knoxley Manning, Asher Jackson Strawn, and Phoenix Michael Dunn.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Carolyn Smith Strawn; second wife, Nancy Brizendine Strawn; son, Toby Lee Strawn; father, Atwood Irby Strawn, mother, Adele Smith Strawn; sister, Mary Fruzanne Dukes; and brothers, John Thomas Strawn, Kenneth Lowell Strawn, and Pascal Irby Strawn.
