James Shorty Bills, age 70 of Berry, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020. Services will be Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Rev. Robert Yerby officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lovie Bills and all of his siblings.
Mr. Bills is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bills; daughter, Wendy Bills Brown (Johnny); son, Allen Bills; and two granddaughters, Brittany Brown and Melody Bills.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Brown, Wesley Studdard, Kyle Branham, Jeffery Fowler, and Kevin Brashier.
