James Samuel “Sammy” Lynn, age 66, of Winfield, AL., passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023. He was born in Fayette, Alabama, July 13, 1957, to Hobert and Lois Lann Lynn.
Funeral services, Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. service time at the Bowen Funeral Home, Winfield, AL.
Mr. Lynn is survived by his wife Cheryl Tucker Lynn, children, Katie Patterson (Paul) of Tuscaloosa, Emily Rea (Deric) of Winfield, and Zane Lynn (Carmen) of Diamondhead, MS, grandchildren, Pierce and Mattie Patterson, Ava and Ella Rea, and Ellis and Bennett Lynn, sister, Nelda Walker (Will) of Haleyville, niece, Caroline Gilmer (Will) of Hoover, brothers-in-law, Benjy and Eddie Tucker, sisters-in-law, Joan Tucker and Ann Barnes (Doug), niece and nephew, Courtney and Hunter Barnes, and a host of other family members and friends.
Mr. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Nancy Lois Lynn.
