James S Harville was born May 9, 1934 in Hardin County TN the son of the late Homer Franklin and Voneto Turner Harville. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Faye Landreth on June 9, 1984. Mrs. Harville preceded him in death on June 21, 2010.
Mr. Harville was a pipe fitter and worked for the Grinnell Corporation in Henderson TN. before he retired, and was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.
Some of Mr. Harville’s favorite pastimes were working on old tractors, lawnmowers, and mowing grass.
Mr. Harville departed this life on November 26, 2014 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 6 Months, 17 Days.
He is survived by a son, Terry Harville and wife Tasha of Lexington, TN; a daughter, Loretta Harville of Nashville, TN, two stepdaughters, Wanda Johnson of Adamsville, TN, Glenda Cromwell of Adamsville, TN; a brother, Jerry Harville and wife Carol of Adamsville, TN, a brother-in-law Charles Moore of Adamsville, TN; five sisters, Jo Campion and husband Joe of Selmer, TN, Frankie Hall of Adamsville, TN, Maggie Hill and husband Floyd of Adamsville, TN, Lena Cook of Adamsville, TN, Ruth Murray and husband Jimmy of Bethel Springs, TN, two sister-in-laws Wilodean Harville of Adamsville, TN, and Betty Harville of Adamsville, TN; three grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Harville was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Moore; two brothers, Carl Harville, Webster Harville, and two brother-in-laws James Hall,and Clarence Cook.
