James Royce Freeman, Sr., 73 of Athens, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Freeman was born September 13, 1946 to Otis Freeman and Francis Smith.
Due to the State Health Order there will be a private visitation and graveside service for Mr. Freeman. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Bro. Tim Keenum officiating.
He was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church and the American Legion. He was also a Legionnaire.
He is survived by his wife, Edwina Freeman; son, James R. Freeman, Jr. (Arianna); daughter, Kathleen Branning (Alex); 3 grandchildren.
