James Roy Huddleston, of O’Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the age of 83. Mr. Huddleston was a U.S. Veteran having served in the Korean War. Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2014 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Kevin Mullins officiating. Burial will be a t Gravelly Springs Cemetery. He was a devoted husband of Juanita Huddleston, son of the late Lawrence M. and Birdie Huddleston, father of James Kimble Collins, Carolyn Holderread (Kerry), Brenda Johnstone (Richard), Lisa Boyd, Robin Baker(Kristine), and Neill Carnahan, cherished grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, dear brother of Barbara Casteel, Shirley Mullins, and Patricia Cornelison (James). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two daughters Sheranee Cole and Polly Brooks. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
