James Robertson Kraemer, 68, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015. Visitation will be at Colbert Memorial Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, from noon-1 p.m. with service at 1 p.m. in chapel. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington, Illinois.
James was an entrepreneur in many fields, where he excelled, and was well known in all his adventures. Mr. Kraemer’s favorite part of the day was 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. where he would set in his garage with coffee, telephone, newspaper and friends.
Mr. Kraemer was preceded in death by wife, Ida M. Kraemer; and parents, Ludwig and Eugenia Kraemer; and his beloved pet, Sandi.
Survivors are daughters, Heather Ann Rice (Josh) and Sheala Lynn Briggs-Kraemer Vastbinder (John); son, Daniel Evans; beloved friends, Mark Anthony Wiles, Don Gomez (Tassie) and Chuck Marks; grandchildren, John Nathaniel Vastbinder, Kaylee Rice and Aryona “Chunky” Rice; and his boys, Max and Cash.
