James Robert Shelton

Mr. James Robert Shelton, age 83 of Millington, TN passed away March 10, 2021. Mr. Shelton was born in Shelbyville, TN. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Thomas Shelton; mother, Louise Anderton Shelton Masters; daughter in-law, Carol Ann Shelton. James is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jo Ann Campbell Shelton of Millington, TN; son, Anthony Keith Shelton of Millington, TN; daughter, Kimberly Ann Shelton of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Angela Marie Shelton, Rebecca Ann (Jeremy) Holcomb and James Edward (Meagan) Shelton; great-grandchildren, Matthew Austin Holcomb, Tyler Brock Morgan, Ella Grace Shelton, Graham Keith Shelton, Shelton Wayne Holcomb, Sawyer James Holcomb and Finley Theodore Shelton. Graveside service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Joe Copolo will officiate. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to Friends of Williamson County Animal Center. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon – 1:00PM Saturday prior to the burial at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 615-794-2289.
