James Robert “J.R.” Spencer, 73, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
