James Robert “J.R.” Craig Sr., 79, of Munford passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Saturday, May 20 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church near Ripley with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Craig, a retired construction manager, was a member of First Baptist Church Atoka.
He is survived by 2 sons Jim Craig (Alesia) of Atoka and Jeff Craig (Sue) of Ripley; his step-mother Betty Craig of Ripley; a sister Penny Childress of Ripley; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
