James Robert “J R” Coppock, age 60 of Piedmont, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Joy Mae Coppock; and brother, Donald Coppock.
J R is survived by his wife, Ann Coppock; children, Rob Coppock (Allie), Katlyn Coppock, Jennifer McFry (Lamar) and Kristy Burge (Lee); grandchildren, Justin Hackney (Evelyn), Moriah Chandler, Johnny Burge (Megan) and Raylan Coppock; great grandchildren, Jusiah Hackney, Greycen Hackney, Caden JR Hackney and Dallis Jane Burge; and siblings, Boyd Coppock and Peggy Parris.
J R, or Papa as he was known to most, was a good man and the best Papa. He will be greatly missed.
