James Robert Agee, Jr.James Robert Agee, Jr., 78, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on January 15th, 2023 in Huntsville, AL.

Jim was born in Fort Worth, TX to James Robert Agee, Sr. and Mattie Mozelle Maier Agee on March 29, 1944.  He graduated from Everman High School in 1962 and then enlisted in the United States Air Force.  He married Donna Lynette Stone on February 2, 1969 in Trinity, NC.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War era and served in the Air Force.  He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL. He enjoyed golf, golf, and more golf. Additional interests were listening to gospel music, reading action novels and watching old cheesy westerns. He always had a smile on his face and was a mentor to many people over the years. He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend to many people and will be greatly missed.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents.

Jim is survived by his wife, Donna, daughters Lynette (Ben), Joanna (Fred), and Becky (Lamont). Brothers, Dan and Mark (Lori). Grandchildren: Micah, Lydia, Phoebe, Nikki, Mitchell, and Dekin. There are more cousins and nieces and nephews than I can name.

Visitation is at Berryhill Funeral Home on Thursday, January 19th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm CST. Burial services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 24th at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Heritage Baptist Church; 1849 Perry Hill Rd,;  Montgomery, AL or Caringbridge.org.
