James Richard Garrett, age 41, of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday September 18, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A visitation will be held on Sunday September 22, 2024 at Heritage Funeral Home from 3:00-6:00 P.M. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on March 3, 1983 in Marshall County, James was the son of Rita (Mike) Mangrum and the late Phillip Ray Garrett. James enjoyed playing his Xbox and watching sports; he was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. James was one of the strongest willed people his family knew and he will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Lucas (Debbie) Garrett and Dean Hayes, sister, Michelle Wilson (Duff), stepbrother, Jason Mangrum, stepsister, Allison Sanders, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
