James Rayford Seahorn – Obituary

James Rayford Seahorn, 54, Red Bay, Ala., died Tuesday, April 16, 2013. He was born April 20, 1958 in Alabama and was a salesperson for 30 years. He was a past member of the Red Bay City Council, a member of Pilot Hill Baptist Church and a Mason in Burleson Lodge #143 in Red Bay.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. A.H. Akins officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, Ala., Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Ala. will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are two children – Ryan Seahorn and Jordan Seahorn (Melissa) all of Red Bay, Ala.; one grandchild – Gunner Seahorn; his mother – Jeraldine Seahorn, Red Bay, Ala.; one brother – Keith Seahorn (Sarah) Red Bay, Ala.; two sisters – Donna Malone (Tim) Glade Springs, Va. and Dianna McCollum (David) Lancaster, Ca.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Seahorn; a brother, Randy Seahorn; and a sister-in-law, Jo Ann Seahorn.

Pallbearers will be Adam Seahorn, Brian Seahorn, Chris Seahorn, Ricky Donald, Kyle Palmer and Clint Holcombe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or a charity of choice .
