Mr. James Ray Cornelius passed away Sunday August 15, 2021.
He was the son of Eulin T. and Ada Bell Cornelius. He was a previous business owner in Hazel Green and a member of the Hazel Green United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulin Troy and Ada Bell Cornelius, sister, Carolyn Lang, and brother, Charles Cornelius.
He is survived by his daughters, Tanya C. Baker and Meighan C. Reese (David); two grandchildren, Erica D. Baker (John Austin) and Connor J. Baker; a sister-in-law, Frances T. Cornelius and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 19, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral will be Friday, August 20, 11:00 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Scites officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hazel Green United Methodist Church, 14131 Highway 231 431 N, Hazel Green, AL 35750, or Valley View Health and Rehabilitation, 5968 Wall Triana Hwy, Madison, AL 35757.
