Funeral services for Mr. James R. Johnson, age 95, are scheduled for 2 PM, Monday, April 18, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Mr. Johnson passed away Friday in Georgia. He was born April 18, 1920 in Darden to the late Henry Martin Johnson and Maggie Austin Johnson. He was a WWII U. S. Army Veteran and a retired insurance salesman for Life and Casualty of Tennessee. Survivors include his son, Mr. Jeffrey D. Johnson of Rising Fawn, GA; his daughter, Julia K. Wakefield of Melbourne, FL; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday 4-8 PM and on Monday 10AM until time of service at 2 PM.
