James Phillip “Jimmy” Judge, age 84 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Franklin County, he was born on January 7, 1940, to the late Victor and Stella (Holder) Judge. Jimmy served his country in the United States Army. Before his retirement, he had been employed as the parts manager at Don Hall Ford and Kennith Wessner Ford. Jimmy was a member of Winchester Masonic Lodge #158 and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ruth Fears Judge; daughter, Patricia Staples Judge; and brothers Jeff Judge, John Paul Judge, and Ray Judge. Jimmy is survived by his son, Patrick Judge of Winchester; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 12, 2024, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
