Funeral service for James “Pete” Wilson, 71, will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Somerville Baptist Church with Dr. Shane Lewis and Bro. Josh Grubbs officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilson died on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 16, 1944, in Morgan County to William Perry Wilson and Kittie Lou Jenkins Wilson. He was a member of Somerville Baptist Church and worked in maintenance for Sexton Can Company prior to retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
