James Paul Fulmer, Jr. – Obituary

58250c21382fa-image(RET) MSG James Paul Fulmer, Jr. (“Forklift”), 57, of Killen, AL, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 after a sudden illness at his home. Jim was a member of the 115th Signal Battalion National Guard, where he served two tours, one in Operation Iraqi Freedom and one in Operation Enduring Freedom. He retired in May 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Paul Fulmer, Sr. and Eleanor Gray Fulmer and granddaughter Eleanorah Izabella.

He is survived by his soul mate of 10 years Sherri; two daughters Brandy and Brittany; sister Stacia (Robert Britt); two grandchildren Brendyn and Bella; eight step-grandchildren Ethan, Rylee Anne, Asher, Milli, Crimson, Ariyah, Nolan, and Grady; and niece Reagan.

In his spare time, Jim enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching Alabama football, and going to Talladega.

The family would like to thank the guys from FMS #1and friends and special neighbors Anthony and Jerrica Ivey and Joe Hodges for their support during this time.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David Gregg officiating. At Jim’s request he will have full military honors at his service.

Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Adams, Tracy Terrell, Michael Gibson, Byron Hester, Rickey Hall, and Richie Cross.

Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
