Funeral service for James Patrick “Jamie” Travers, II, age 21, of Decatur,
will be Thursday, June 20, 2013, 7:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Stephen Moro officiating.
The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.
Mr. Travers, who died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, in Decatur,
was born November 25, 1991, in Decatur,
to William Travers and Rebecca Hill Travers.
He is survived by his father, William Travers of Decatur;
his mother, Rebecca Travers of Decatur;
one brother, Andrew Hill of Decatur;
one sister, Brooke Thompson (Derek) of Decatur;
grandparents, Margaret and Ewell Hill of Decatur,
and James and Demaris Travers of Decatur;
and one nephew, Walker Thompson of Decatur.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made
to Gentiva Hospice, 303 Williams Avenue, Suite 116, Huntsville, AL 35801.
