James Noel Hardwick, age 54 of Sheffield, died Friday, November 11, 2016.
His family will receive friends Sunday, 2-3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia with the funeral service following in the funeral home chapel. Dr. Bob Atwell is officiating and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Mr. Hardwick was a native of Florence, Alabama. He was a 1980 graduate of Coffee High School. He attended the University of Alabama and was a graduate of the University of North Alabama where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clebsten and Stella Kelly and C. A. and Zera Hardwick.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-seven years, Joanna Atwell Hardwick, parents, Jack and Jean Hardwick, sons, James Mason Hardwick, Matthew McCuin Hardwick and Robert Maclain Hardwick, sisters, Cara Gough and husband Jim, and Kathy Hardwick.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Potter, Michael Wesson, Scott Stanfield, Jay Trowbridge, Jay Isom, Jimmy Walker and Miles Sledge.
