James Naylon Posey – Obituary

James Naylon Posey, 72, of Moulton, passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2016 at Decatur General Hospital. Visitation will be from to 6 untill 8 p.m. today, Aug. 14, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home Moulton. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, 2016 at the funeral home with Alan Compton officiating. Burial will be in Landersville Cemetery.

He was born in Lawrence County on June 4, 1944 to Rubert and Lottie Anderton Posey. He was a member of Landersville Methodist Church and was retired from Solutia after 36 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce White Posey; daughter, Kim Posey; sister, Gayla Tanksley and Mike, all of Moulton; and a host of neices and nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Rubert Posey; mother, Lottie Anderton Posey; daughter, Karen Annette Posey.

Pallbearers will be David White, Matthew White, Daniel Woodard, Cody Tanksley, Wayne Mitchell, and Wendall Mitchell.

Honory pallbearers are Don White and Mark White

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude and American Heart Association.
