James Michael Smith, 68, of Decatur, passed away on October 8, 2018. The funeral service for Mr. Smith will be on Friday, October 12, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. A visitation service will be Thursday, October 11, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born on September 8, 1950 in Decatur, AL to parents Sally and Leon Smith. He spent his career at Goodyear and Hyosung. Since his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Pamela Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by his son, David Smith; daughter, Tonya Czajkowski (Tim); grandchildren, Lilly and Landon Czajkowski, and sister, Patricia Smith.
