James McCoy
July 13, 1962 – March 13, 2024
There comes a time in everyone’s life when we must depart from those we love. The angels came to Anniston Alabama On Wednesday , March 13, 2024 and gave James his wings and he took flight.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 30th at 1pm in the chapel at Cremation Services of East Alabama, 733 White Plains Road, Anniston, AL
He was born July 13, 1962 to the late James McCoy Sr and the late Mattie McCoy in Chicago Illinois. He was the second of three children. Janet Hamlin (sister) and Erra McCoy (sister)He accepted Christ at an early age and graduated from Tylor Allderdice High school in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. James was a star athlete in high school and loved to ride dirt bikes.
James was in the transportation Industry and prided himself on having over 3 million miles nationwide with zero at fault accidents as a commercial driver. He hauled cars for Virgina Transport for the past 4 years of his lengthy career as a professional driver.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories two sons James A McCoy III and Oliver J McCoy.
