James Mark Farris, age 69 of Tullahoma, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Winchester on August 3, 1955, to the late Jessie and Elizabeth (Hill) Farris. Before his retirement, Mark had worked at LTS and in the construction industry. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed throwing horseshoes, dirt and drag racing, and playing dominos. He also enjoyed the great outdoors, especially when he could be on his backhoe. But most of all, Mark cherished the time spent with his beloved family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jessie Farris; and sister, Elaine Tinnel. Mark is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Barbara Farris; children, Jason (Kelly) Farris, Kim (Greg) Cash, Amanda Partin, Debra (Joseph) Lacewell; grandchildren, Haley Cash, Trey Cash, Austin Cash, Liam Cash, Olivia Farris, Derrick Cash, Makayla Cash, Charles Partin, Miranda Partin, Eric Partin, Abigail Partin, Markus Lacewell, Rainey Hernandez, and Dylan Wilkerson; great-grandchildren, Ella Bradford; and siblings, David (Nancy) Farris, Eddie (Diane) Farris, Rex (Brenda) Farris, Carl (Kathy) Farris, Doris King, Michael Farris, and Dale (Sherry) Farris. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro.
